INTRODUCTION
UA Enterprises Sdn Bhd., is a publishing company established by Usman Awang himself. Due to his writing activities, hectic schedules and later his ailing heart, this company was dormant.

In January 2006, this company was activated by his two daughters, Haslina and Mayawati. Lead by Haslina as the Executive Director and Abd Rahim Affandi, her husband, one of the pioneers in TV3. He is now is the CEO of this publishing company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
UA Enterprises Sdn Bhd., entrusted by Usman Awang’s beneficiaries to manage all his literary works:

1. Listing of all his literary works for sole rights according to Islamic law
2. All rights reserved for the beneficiaries
3. Publishing rights in any kinds belongs to UA Enterprises Sdn Bhd., according to the stated conditions
4. The channel to manage Usman Awang’s royalties

OBJECTIVES
1. To conduct research and search all his works from the time he first started writing until his last days
2. To re-publish all his literary works for his works to be appreciated by everyone
3. Re-branding his image – according to his essence and personality as a people’s poet.
4. Introducing Usman Awang and his literary works to the new generation
5. To re-publish his works in the forms of books, CD-Roms, theatre, TV drama and films
